- -- - With an air of clarity, a proud spawned Zykla would be known. Survived by driven purpose; thrived by the kiss of Solis and Luna yet, marred by whims of mere existence. An emerald gaze was seated upon flowing, speckled pelt of rust and cloaked by ashen soot; shadow-tipped limbs follow the primed, perfected stride. While rugged nature spoke of savagery, his appearance displayed a refined soul, molded by unforgiving time. Tall standing ears and lengthened serpentine tail matched the marked physicality known to his kind. He was a being raveled with mystery and wrought with tribulation.

His fur will thicken during the winter months and shorten during the summer. Alpine Zykla boast a secondary undercoat which aids in protecting from ultraviolet light. He sheds.

His lungs are a fair bit larger than those closer to the ground. This aids in his ability to withstand the thinner levels of oxygen in more mountainous terrain.

Powerful leg muscles and both larger and tougher than average appendages offer him an increased dexterity when climbing over stone. All claws tend to be broader in scale as a result.

It is believed that his family is potentially extensive. That there is any question to whether siblings exist is a rather moot point. What is more likely is an unknowing potential that he could be speaking to one at any given moment having never known what became of life after his venture to serve. As it stands, he is unknown to his kin but expects more to become clear with time.



Just as with an eye for incomplete things, there is an eye for unique odds and ends. Be they objects of mystical power, or items to draw out fear or even pleasure, one can be assured it will have his attention.

Always is it a blessing to to be graced in either Solis or Luna's light, but to have their gaze share the sky at the quiet of dawn or darkening of dusk is where one will find this shadow Zykla.

All company is enjoyed to a certain degree. However, there will always be a preference toward those of his own kind. To what purpose that may be can be questionable. There a few greater offerings than another Zykla being!

There will never be enough that can be offered to the heavens above. He constantly scans, sizing up everything with a beating heart to be his next offering. Slaves, enemies, even friends and family are not spared his vetting.

Tar: A pair of glands at the back of his mouth produce a sticky resin, or tar that can be spat at will to blinding effect. It is also highly flammable.

Acute Hearing: Tall ears are more than for show and allow him to hear many times beyond than he would make apparent.

Sturdy: Tends to have better than average stability, complimented by often minute or slower movements.
He does not topple easily.

Nyctalopia: All Zykla suffer from this condition, also referred to as night blindness. He is blind in low or no light situations.

Ancient Injuries: Phantom pains of the past can strike him at any time. These are occasionally crippling.

With hands as steady as the mountains, but as fluid as a viscus molten flow, he has cultivated an admiral skill in the carving of idols or cutting precious stones. Though not a primary trade, it is something to occupy his mind or done for more meditative purposes. He will take commissions without realizing the full potential of his craft for it is as pleasurable for him to mold stone, as for a client to receive a completed work for a fraction of cost.

Pocket Watch: Often found staring at this if disinterested in the current situation or otherwise alone.

Amulet: It is rare, if ever, that he is seen without this gracing his neck. While there is little doubt it holds significance to him, he does not delve into details.
